The Machines That Move Us

Craftsmanship, engineering and quiet confidence — a guide to the marques that define the Class A world.

The marques

Seven Names to Know

From production luxury to full-custom coachwork, each builder occupies its own place in the hierarchy.

Newmar

Nappanee, Indiana

Known for build quality and the famous "Newmar difference" in fit and finish. The King Aire and Essex sit at the top of the diesel line, with full-wall slides and Spartan chassis underneath.

Entegra Coach

Middlebury, Indiana

A rapid riser in the luxury diesel segment. The Cornerstone is the flagship — quiet-ride engineering, a 605-horsepower Cummins and one of the strongest warranties in the class.

Tiffin

Red Bay, Alabama

A family company with famously loyal owners and legendary factory service. The Allegro Bus and Zephyr carry the flag, blending southern hospitality with serious coachwork.

American Coach

Decatur, Indiana

The American Eagle and American Dream have anchored the premium diesel market for decades — hand-finished cabinetry and heavy-duty Liberty chassis engineering.

Foretravel

Nacogdoches, Texas

A semi-custom builder with a cult following. The Realm and Presidency are built on Foretravel's own chassis, and owners tend to keep them for decades — or trade only for another Foretravel.

Newell

Miami, Oklahoma

Fully custom, built one at a time on Newell's own two-story chassis. Every coach is commissioned, not configured — the closest thing to a bespoke land yacht made in America.

Prevost

Sainte-Claire, Québec

The bus-conversion standard. A Prevost shell finished by converters like Marathon, Liberty, Millennium or Emerald is the pinnacle of the motorcoach world — and the coach most often seen at the resorts in our collection.

A note on resort standards

Most Class A resorts in our collection require coaches of a minimum length (usually 32–36 feet) and age (often 10 years or newer, or approved by photo). Every brand on this page clears the bar at any resort in the collection.

The New Standard
in Grand Touring

Today's flagship coaches pair 600-horsepower diesels with residential interiors, whole-coach automation and ride quality that rivals a private rail car.
